The word “Gospel” means “good news.” At Radiant Church, the Gospel is at the very heart of everything we believe and do. It’s the good news about what God has done through Jesus Christ to rescue us from sin and restore us to Himself.
God is the holy, loving Creator of the universe. He made us in His image to know Him, enjoy Him, and reflect His glory. (Genesis 1:27; Colossians 1:16)
Instead of living under God's loving rule, we chose rebellion. Sin entered the world and broke everything—our relationship with God, with others, and with ourselves. The result is spiritual death and separation from God. (Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:2)
But God, in His mercy, didn’t leave us in our brokenness. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ—fully God and fully man—to live the perfect life we couldn’t live, die the death we deserved, and rise again in victory over sin and death. Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus made a way for us to be forgiven and restored to God. (John 3:16; Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4)
This good news calls for a response. We don’t earn salvation by being good or trying harder—we receive it by grace through faith in Jesus. When we turn from our sin and trust in Christ, we are made new, adopted into God’s family, and given a new purpose: to follow Jesus and help others do the same. (Ephesians 2:8–9; Mark 1:15; 2 Corinthians 5:17)
The Gospel is not just the starting point of the Christian life—it’s the foundation and fuel for everything we are and do. It shapes how we worship, how we live, how we love others, and how we carry the mission of Jesus into the world. This is the message we proclaim, the hope we cling to, and the power by which we are being transformed.
At Radiant, the Gospel is not just something we believe—it's the life we live.
